This agenda details the basic content of each day. Most days we will be out of the classroom performing inspections on homes and/or job sites.
Sunday (3:45 - 7:30):
Registration, Green/HERS Industry, Construction Terminology, Documents, Geometry Review
Monday (8:00 - 6:00):
Building Science Fundamentals, Climate Zones, Air/Heat/Moisture, Building Components, Air-Sealing, Insulation, Calculating Heat Flow, Pressure Theory, Infiltration, Testing Protocols
Tuesday (8:00 - 6:00):
Building Components, HVAC, Water Heaters, Ventilation, In-Field Diagnostic Testing
Wednesday (8:00 - 6:00):
Review Blower Door & Duct Blaster, Intro to HERS Industry, REM/Rate Software
Thursday (8:00 - 6:00):
REM/Rate, Plan Reviews, Reporting, Oral Exams for Equipment Operation
Friday (8:00 - 6:00):
On-Site Rating & Equipment Testing, Software Testing, RESNET HERS Test
