The Advanced Evaluation introduces the concept of "installed efficiency" with relation to the HVAC system. This valuable addition allows us to get a general sense of how well the HVAC system is actually working. The average installed efficiency is a mere 60%, which means that there is a huge opportunity to save some money and achieve greater performance by addressing the contributing issues, the most common of which are deficiencies in the distribution system (ductwork).
